As a full time Fitter / Rigger at Boneyard Fabrications, you'll play a vital role in being part of the team that ensures projects are run smoothly and efficiently both on site and in the workshop

What you'll be doing
Carry out hands-on mechanical fitting tasks to the highest standards using a range of specialised equipment
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide the fabrication process
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise, implementing effective solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety procedures and quality control measures
Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to more junior team members
Liase with clients to complete the projects to the highest standards they expect

What we're looking for
Formal trade qualification as a fitter and rigger
Demonstrated hands-on expertise in metal fabrication, welding and assembly techniques MIG, TIG and STICK
Mechanical fitting skills inclusive of bearings, gearboxes, machining and setout of machinery
On site breakdown experience
Steelwork and rigging experience to work with our franna
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines




Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
Sound understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Positive, team-oriented attitude and effective communication skills
