The Role
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based nursing care within scope of practice
Support clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety systems
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary general practice team
Contribute to chronic condition management, preventive care, and health assessments
Wound management
Minor procedure assistance
Solid organisational skills and qualified accountability
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in line with RACGP standards
Cannulation certified
Valid Australian work visa or legal work authorisation required. Ochre does not offer sponsorship for this role.
Desirable (not essential)
General practice nursing experience
Immunisations, wound care, ECG, spirometry
Chronic Condition Management and Health Assessments
Ear syringe certified desirable
Experience with Best Practice software
