Central Coast LHD is seeking PGY4+ Registrars and CMOs to support Emergency Department services across its coastal hospital network. Shifts are available throughout 2026 , including weekday, weekend, and after-hours blocks. Work in a busy, supportive department with diverse presentations and robust escalation pathways.
Clinical Highlights:
Wide case mix – You’ll manage trauma, cardiac emergencies, resuscitations, paediatrics, and mental health presentations, gaining invaluable experience across a full spectrum of emergency presentations
Varied shift responsibilities – Work in both in-charge and supervised positions , depending on your seniority and the hospital site, allowing you to grow into leadership or consolidate independent practice
Streamlined systems – The use of electronic medical records and effective triage protocols ensures smoother workflow and better patient flow, letting you focus on delivering quality care
High-acuity exposure in a well-equipped setting – Access to modern facilities, specialist support,
and strong escalation pathways make this an ideal setting for developing procedural and critical care skills
Eligibility Criteria:
AHPRA General Registration
PGY4+ with minimum 6 months Emergency Medicine experience
Willingness to complete onboarding and local credentialing
What’s Provided:
Up to $2,500/shift , depending on experience and shift type
