We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a large defence project, providing operational support, administration, monitoring and maintenance of business-critical applications and platform services within a complex enterprise environment.

This role requires sound technical knowledge, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure the availability, performance and security of supported systems.
Experience providing application and platform support within complex enterprise ICT environments
Practical knowledge and experience supporting applications hosted on IBM Fusion, Red Hat OpenShift, or comparable containerised platform environments
Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve application, platform and integration issues in accordance with established support processes and service level agreements
Experience monitoring system health, performance, availability and capacity, and taking appropriate action to maintain service continuity
Understanding of incident, problem,



change and release management processes within an ITIL-aligned support workplace
Ability to diagnose technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and elevate complex matters where required
Understanding of security, compliance and operational requirements within secure or regulated environments
Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams, engaging with technical specialists, vendors and business stakeholders
Ability to maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and support knowledge articles
Solid communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
