Role Overview
Manning Aquatic & Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team. Our swim teachers deliver swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail, possess strong time management and organisational skills, and can work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Deliver swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities.
Skills & Attributes
Energetic, creative and decisive teaching style
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
Qualifications
Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
Working with Vulnerable People & National Police Check
Current Swim Teaching Certificate
Requirements for New Teachers
If you have recently completed a swimming instructor course and wish to undertake your required training at the centre, please contact us.
Additional Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a national police check and a Working with Children check.
