TMS Accountants and Advisors is a boutique tax advisory and accounting firm, based in Scarborough. We are seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join the team on a Full time basis.

The key purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth and seamless running of the firm by providing administration and bookkeeping support for our clients and staff.

Duties
Staff management and workflow, ensuring key deadlines are met.
Ensuring compliance deadlines are met with the Australian Taxation Office and ASIC.
Administrative support to the director and senior accountants.
Assist with answering phone calls and client queries.
Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data is met.
Onboarding and maintaining client databases.
Processing payroll and superannuation for clients and firm.
Accounts payable and receivable.




Account reconciliations for clients.
Accounts creation, support, and advice for clients.
Preparation of BAS and IAS.

Qualifications and experience
Proven experience in a similar Office Manager/Bookkeeper role.
Ability to work as part of a team but also be self-motivated.
Highly developed organisational skills and an ability to prioritise/meet deadlines.
Experience with accounting software Xero is preferable, as well as experience with other accounting software.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to learn and take on current tasks.
