Leading Global Organisation, In-House – Sydney CBD
A current chance has arisen for a senior projects lawyer to join the infrastructure team of a global organisation in Sydney. The role will be a key part of the legal team, supporting the commercial team across large complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Providing leadership on legal and commercial issues relating to proposed projects.
Assisting with structuring, preparing, negotiating, and concluding transactions for projects.
Supporting the business in construction dispute resolution.
Responsibility for managing risk for projects in delivery.
Advising the business on compliance and risk management.
Key Requirements
Ideally 8+ years gained from a leading private practice firm or in-house organisation.
Experience reviewing and negotiating engineering and construction contracts.
Previous exposure to construction litigation ideally across large projects.
Excellent negotiation and advisory skills.
Proven ability to manage competing deadlines with excellent problem solving skills.
