Roofers | Cladders | Carpenters | Skilled TAs - ADELAIDE
Volley Recruit is looking for experienced construction workers from across Victoria who might be interested in heading over to Adelaide for 6–9 months of consistent work on major projects.
With two large projects kicking off around August and September 2026, we’re starting the search now for good people who are open to spending a decent stint in South Australia.
Potential gross earnings of approximately $2,500–$3,500+ per week, depending on experience, skill level, hours worked and applicable penalties.
With project teams potentially working around 50-hour weeks, this is a genuine chance to put in a solid stretch of work and make it worthwhile.
We’d love to hear from:
Roofers
Cladders
Skilled Construction TAs
Workers with strong trade backgrounds
Experienced construction workers who are confident on the tools
People with EWP and Working at Heights experience
The work will include:
Commercial roofing
Roof mesh installation
Insulation
Guttering
Colorbond cladding
General roofing and cladding support
Ideally you’ll have:
Solid construction or trade experience
White Card
Working at Heights
Police Clearance issued within the past 12 months, or ability to obtain one
EWP Scissor Lift highly regarded
EWP Over 11m highly regarded
Confidence working at heights
Ability to understand and follow transparent instructions
Your own basic hand tool kit
A positive attitude and willingness to commit to the project
You don’t necessarily need to be a qualified roofer.
If you come from carpentry, cladding, commercial construction or another solid trade background (or you’re a genuinely capable TA who knows your way around tools and a construction site) we still want to hear from you.
These aren’t two-week shutdowns.
We’re talking about major projects expected to run from around August/September 2026 through to March, April or May 2027.
So if you’ve ever thought about getting out of Victoria for a while, spending some time in Adelaide and earning good money while you’re here, this could be worth a conversation.
