Next Storey Home Additions builds second-storey additions on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We're after a full-time carpenter for the finishing end of our builds. Someone whose fixout speaks for itself and who cares about the details other people miss.

You’ll handle the fixout, the fit-off and the maintenance items at the back end of each project. Your job is to get everything to a standard where we hand over right the first time.

What you’ll be doing

Second fix: doors, architraves, skirtings, cabinetry install and finishing detail

The finishing work that sets the quality of our builds

Working through the maintenance list at the end of each job so it's handed over defect free

Working off plans and holding a consistently high standard of finish

Dealing with clients in their homes, so presentation and manner matter

Keeping your work area clean, secure and tidy,



often in occupied homes

What we’re looking for

Trade qualified (Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent)

At least 5 years on the tools with robust fixout and finishing skills

A proper eye for detail and finish. This is the main thing we care about

Your own tools and your own ute or van

Able to work on your own and run your own day

Good with clients. Polite, presentable and trustworthy in someone's home

White Card and NSW driver's licence
