What you'll do
Oversee the deployment of infrastructure in Asia Pacific data centers, focusing on network and security platforms.
Lead initiatives to enhance the capacity and reliability of our infrastructure.
Develop and maintain our international LAN/WAN and security environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Collaborate with developers and hardware engineers on projects requiring stable and scalable platforms.
Monitor network and infrastructure performance, addressing alerts and identifying potential issues proactively.
Engage in incident response efforts, working with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve service disruptions.
Requirements
3 to 8 years of experience in a network engineering role within an operational setting.
Proficient in managing network systems using IaC methodologies.
Familiar with multi-zone, multi-tier firewall architectures across the APAC region.
Solid understanding of network transport and routing protocols, including TCP/UDP, OSPF, BGP, and Multicast.
Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting data center environments.
Skilled in monitoring and managing diverse international WAN networks.
In-depth knowledge of L2/L3 networking, firewalls, and network security.
Experience with IaC tools such as Git, Terraform, or Ansible.
Relevant certifications like Arista ACE, PCNSE, CCNP, or CCIE are advantageous.
Nice to have
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions.
Experience in financial services or trading settings.
