Tumby Bay Medical has a passionate team that provide holistic and comprehensive medical care for the patients and families in the community and surrounding districts. The practice provides emergency and on-call medical services to Tumby Bay Hospital, and nursing home visits.

The practice offers variety in scope and is supported by an experienced team of Fellowed GPs, a practice manager, practice nurses, and administration staff. Visiting specialists and Allied Health services operate within the practice. There is chance to supervise registrars and medical students.

The hospital is supported by SAVES (South Australian Virtual Emergency Service) for after-hours accident and emergency presentations.

Hours:
Practice: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Hospital:



one day per week and approximately one weekend per month

Qualifications considered
Eligible for medical registration with AHPRA
Recent emergency experience, or prepared to upskill
Ability to gain credentials as a General Practitioner – GP Emergency Medicine

Desirable
Vocational Registration
Experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health, skin cancer excision
