Well-established and growing stone benchtop manufacturing company based in Sydney, with a team of around 25+ staff. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to take full responsibility for our factory operations.

About the Role

This is a key leadership role within the business. You will be managing daily production while also being involved on the floor when needed. We are looking for someone practical, organised, and detail-oriented who can ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily factory operations
Plan and schedule jobs to meet deadlines
Lead, supervise, and support a team of approx. 20 staff
Ensure product quality and minimise errors and rework
Communicate with clients regarding job progress, timelines, and issues
Coordinate closely with office and installation teams
Monitor job progress, materials, and stock levels
Improve workflow efficiency and production processes
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised factory
Assist with basic cost tracking, invoicing support,



and simple accounting tasks

Skills & Experience
Proven experience in stone benchtops / stone masonry / cabinetry or similar manufacturing industry
Previous experience as a Production Manager or Supervisor
Robust leadership skills with a hands-on approach
High level of responsibility and attention to detail
Good communication skills, including client-facing experience
Basic accounting knowledge(cost control, invoicing, or job costing)
Positive computer skills (Excel, job scheduling systems; CAD highly regarded)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience in the Australian stone industry
Ability to speak Mandarin
