As a Recycling Attendant, you’ll be the first point of contact for community members arriving to responsibly dispose of household waste and recyclables. Your role is essential in keeping the site running smoothly, ensuring materials are sorted, handled, and processed correctly and safely.
This is a role for someone who’s not afraid of physical work, enjoys being outdoors, and takes pride in doing a job well. You’ll be working onsite at the Warwick waste facility, wearing PPE including steel‑cap boots, and contributing to a team that values safety, respect, and professionalism.
A forklift licence is a solid advantage, but not a requirement.
This role is based at the Warwick, Queensland facility site. Casual hours (Including weekend work with penalty rates).
What You’ll Be Doing
Following Endeavour’s Work Health & Safety procedures, including correct PPE use
Multiple sites working at various locations of southern downs region waste sites including Stanthorpe, Warwick, Allora and others
Lifting and moving heavy items (15kg ) with confidence
Providing solid customer service—greeting the public and helping them unload their waste
Handling repetitive physical tasks, bending, sorting, and stacking materials safely
Ensuring recyclable and waste items are processed correctly and efficiently
What You Bring
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional short‑notice shifts
Strong attention to detail when sorting and stacking items
Explicit communication, excellent customer service, and dependable time management
The ability to work independently while showing respect and teamwork
Willingness to obtain a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
