About the role:

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team at the Ballarat Mine Site. This role plays a key role in ensuring that our heavy mobile equipment is ready for safe and productive operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy earthmoving machinery.

Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic,



and electrical systems.

Complete maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Work collaboratively with site supervisors and operators to maximize fleet up time.

About you:

Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter (or equivalent).

Experience with large-scale earthmoving equipment (e.g. CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi).

Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Current HR Licence.

Previous experience on a mine site.
