Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Care

Location: Launceston, Tasmania
Position Type: Permanent, full time, day worker, up to 76 hours per fortnight (hours negotiable)

Salary: $148,470 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation contribution

Visa sponsorship and relocation support available for eligible UK/IE candidates.

Position Overview

This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to work alongside skilled healthcare professionals, providing expert cardiac care to the community. You will use advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac conditions, working autonomously within a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellent outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop treatment plans
Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions in hospital settings
Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
Provide patient and family education on cardiac health management
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research




Mentor and support junior nursing staff

Essential Criteria
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner.
