About the role
Mater Hospital Springfield Surgical Departmentis seeking experienced, motivated and enthusiasticRegistered Nurses.Be part of our team with a range of opportunities available, includingpermanent full time, part time and maximum-term roles.
Based at our Springfield campus, these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — opening early ****.
As Mater's first current public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region.
With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it's set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.
Salary range: $***** - $***** per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing
We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurses who will be motivated by a challenging and fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
About you
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 12 months postgraduate experience in an Surgical setting
Previous experience in emergency nursing would be highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Outstanding communication and time management skills
