Mater is seeking compassionate and skilledRegistered Nursesto join theCardiac and Surgical Unit Neonatal Intensive Care UnitatMater Mothers' Hospital, Brisbane,in afull-time or part-time, permanentposition.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide highly specialised nursing care to critically unwell and vulnerable neonates, while working within a team-oriented, values-driven team in one of Australia's leading maternity and neonatal services.
In this role, you will deliver safe, evidence-based neonatal nursing care while supporting families during some of the most critical moments of their lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing comprehensive nursing care to neonates with complex and critical care needs
Advocating for infants and families, ensuring care is delivered with sensitivity to physical, emotional and spiritual needs
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver and evaluate patient care
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and infection prevention practices
Participating in quality improvement activities, research initiatives, and ongoing service development
Supporting and mentoring students and less experienced staff, contributing to a positive learning environment
About you
You are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse who thrives in a critical care environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
You will bring:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated experience working within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
or comparable neonatal critical care setting (highly regarded)
Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
