About the Role
Working alongside the Business Transformation Lead, you'll play a key role in implementing Ironwood's transformation roadmap.
You'll coordinate business improvement projects, implement and maintain our Ironwood Hub (SharePoint), support the rollout of new systems, oversee SOPs and onboarding, and help embed the operational disciplines that will underpin Ironwood's future growth.
This is a practical, hands‐on coordination role supporting Ironwood Australia's business stabilisation and transformation program.
The role has been structured as a part‐time, onsite role across 4 days per week, with school‐friendly hours preferred.
Reporting to the Implementation & Transformation Lead, the Transformation & Operations Coordinator provides the structure, documentation, tracking and follow‐up needed to keep approved transformation work moving across the business.
Based onsite at our Pampoolah operational office, you'll work closely with teams across administration, customer service, sales, finance and operations within a working timber mill environment.
The role is responsible for keeping transformation work organised, documented and on track.
This includes maintaining the SOP library, coordinating SharePoint and controlled documents, tracking project actions, supporting onboarding administration, maintaining CRM data quality, assisting with KPI dashboard reporting and keeping training records current.
Role Focus and Fit
In the first 90 days, the focus will be on project tracking, action follow‐up and onboarding coordination.
As the transformation program progresses, CRM coordination,
KPI dashboard support and system maintenance will become a greater focus.
This is not a senior leadership or decision‐making role.
It is an important execution and coordination role that works within approved frameworks, escalating decisions, risks and priorities through the Implementation & Transformation Lead.
This role would suit someone who enjoys structure, systems, documentation and follow‐through, and who can keep actions, deadlines and information moving in a calm, practical and team‐focused way.
The role is part-time across 4 days per week, with school‐friendly hours preferred.
It is offered as a 12‐month fixed‐term role, with review for permanent appointment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the SOP library, including document structure, naming conventions, version control and sign‐off records
Coordinate SharePoint document libraries, controlled document registers, permissions and access management
Maintain project registers, action logs, meeting actions and follow‐up tracking across transformation workstreams
Prepare meeting agendas, record outcomes and distribute action items with owners and deadlines
Coordinate onboarding administration, induction checklists, system access requests and team milestone tracking
Maintain CRM data quality, contact records,
pipeline entries and regular data audits
Support KPI dashboard build, data collection, reporting cadence and version control
Maintain training records, competency matrices, sign‐off dates and expiry tracking across the business
Identify process gaps and coordinate approved continuous improvement actions
What We're Looking For
Experience in project coordination, administration, business operations or systems support
Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow‐through
Confidence working with documents, registers, action logs and business systems
A solid sense of ownership and accountability for keeping work organised and moving
Technically capable, with the ability to learn and work across platforms such as SharePoint, CRM and project tools
A proactive communicator who flags issues early and follows up appropriately
Ability to work independently within a defined framework
A calm, reliable and team‐focused approach
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Someone who enjoys structure, systems and continuous improvement
