About Us

We operate one of Australia's largest fleets of heavy mining equipment and are recognised for delivering protected, reliable and efficient mining services.
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations of our fleet at the Carmichael Mine.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving safety, equipment reliability, team performance and operational excellence.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance activities across a large mobile fleet, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard while meeting operational and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the safe, efficient and cost-effective maintenance of a large heavy mining equipment fleet
Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, on schedule and within budget
Build, mentor and lead high-performing maintenance teams
Drive equipment reliability,



availability and continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare and present monthly maintenance reports for the client and Head Office
Ensure all maintenance documentation and reporting is completed accurately
Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and site standards
Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and the client
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven leadership experience within large-scale mining maintenance operations.
You will have:
Extensive experience as a Maintenance Superintendent managing large mobile mining fleets
Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent
Current G1, G8 and G9 (formerly S1, S2 and S3)
Current G2 (RIIRIS402E – Carry Out the Risk Management Process)
Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
Current Queensland Driver Licence
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
A commitment to safety, continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams
