About the Role
You will work as part of our experienced educator team to deliver high-quality education and care while contributing to a positive, nurturing learning environment for children.
This role is ideal for an educator who is professional, collaborative, and passionate about early childhood education.
While this is not a Room Leader position, applicants must have some previous Room Leader experience or demonstrated experience leading a room and supporting other educators.
This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and future leadership within our service.
What We Are Looking For
Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Full-time availability across our operating hours of 6:30am–6:30pm.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
Previous Room Leader experience, or demonstrated experience leading a room, is essential.
A robust and non-negotiable commitment to child safety, safeguarding practices, and ethical conduct at all times.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Demonstrates emotional maturity and sound professional judgement, particularly regarding child safety.
Confident in supporting children with additional or high-support needs using positive behaviour guidance strategies.
Passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
Demonstrates warmth, positivity, and a genuine heart for children.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of a high-quality educational program aligned with the Service Philosophy, National Quality Standard, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Contribute to planning, documentation, and reflective practice to support children's learning and development.
Create engaging learning environments that promote agency, choice, belonging, and inclusion.
Build respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant learning environment at all times.
Support fellow educators through collaboration, mentoring, and sharing of knowledge and experience.
Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and reflective practice.
