Coordinator Health and Safety– Permanent Full Time.
Salary Range Band 7 $108,000 to $120,000 per annum plus Super.
Based in Maryborough, Victoria.

You will be at the heart of shaping a genuine safety‐first culture, partnering with leaders, coaching teams, and driving the continuous improvement of our OHS framework so every staff member feels safe, supported, and valued.
Your work will go beyond compliance; you will champion proactive wellbeing initiatives and lead the response to psychosocial risks, making a real and lasting difference in the lives of the people who power this community.
Responsibilities
Shape and improve the community's OHS framework and safety management system.
Partner with leadership and teams to embed a safety culture across all operations.
Coach and mentor staff, translating complex legislative requirements into practical action.
Champion proactive wellbeing initiatives and manage responses to psychosocial risks.
Lead continuous improvement efforts and ensure all health and safety policies are up to date.
Qualifications
Experienced OHS professional with deep legislative knowledge and a passion for people.
Proven track record in developing and enhancing safety management systems.
Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, actionable plans.
Strong leadership capability to mentor others while driving meaningful cultural change.
