Truganina | Full time | Monday to Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm

Our client, one of Australia's largest independent automotive glazing companies, is looking for an experienced Heavy Commercial Autoglazier/ Fitter to join its growing Truganina team.
This is a specialist role for someone who already has experience fitting and repairing glass on trucks, buses, heavy machinery and other commercial vehicles.
You will have the autonomy to manage your work, the support of an experienced operational team and the opportunity to coach another team member who is developing their heavy commercial glazing capability.
This opportunity has no requirement for regular weekend work, and you will receive a fully maintained company vehicle.

About the role
Working across a combination of workshop and mobile jobs, you will provide specialist automotive glazing services for heavy commercial vehicles and machinery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Removing, repairing and replacing windscreens and other glass components on trucks, buses, heavy machinery and commercial vehicles
Managing jobs from assessment through to completion
Completing chip repairs, sealing work and glass replacements to industry standards
Assessing damage and recommending the most appropriate repair or replacement solution
Providing guidance and practical coaching to another team member
Delivering professional service to commercial customers
Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
Keeping your tools, equipment and vehicle in excellent condition
Following all health, safety and environmental requirements
Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and branch management
About you
This position requires previous heavy commercial automotive glazing experience.
To be considered, you will need:
Demonstrated experience fitting or repairing glass on heavy commercial vehicles
A current Australian driver's licence
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
High standards of safety and workmanship
The ability to work independently and manage mobile jobs
Professional communication and customer service skills
A willingness to coach and share your knowledge with others
Australian working rights or the skills and experience required to be considered for employer sponsorship
Automotive glazing qualifications are a must and a heavy vehicle licence will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Our client may assist the successful candidate to obtain the appropriate heavy vehicle licence.
