Opening in South Bank, Grill Osaka will transport guests into the heart of downtown Osaka through open flame cooking, Japanese hospitality, theatre and energy.
Centred around a horseshoe counter surrounding a live robata flame grill and teppan, guests won't simply come to eat—they'll come to experience one of Brisbane's most exciting new hospitality venues.
We're looking for an exceptional Head Chef to help bring that vision to life.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Head Chef who wants more than another kitchen.
We want someone who wants to help create one of Brisbane's most talked-about restaurants.
Working alongside Group Executive Chef Matt Fosker, you'll play a key role in shaping every aspect of the kitchen operation—from refining dishes and developing systems through to building culture and leading service.
This is a genuine opportunity to help create something from day one.
About You
You're an experienced kitchen leader who understands that consistency and culture are just as important as great food.
You'll ideally bring:
Previous experience leading high-volume kitchens
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent organisational ability
Calmness under pressure
Passion for Japanese food and hospitality
High standards of cleanliness and food safety
A genuine desire to build and develop a team
Japanese cuisine experience would be highly regarded, however we're equally interested in outstanding chefs who understand flavour, quality and hospitality and are excited to immerse themselves in the concept.
