Remarkable You Occupational Therapy – North Lakes QLD
At Remarkable You OT, we've intentionally built a workplace where therapists can do meaningful work without sacrificing support, growth or sustainability.
Why this prospect?
This is an exciting time to join Remarkable You OT.
As we continue to grow and expand into a multidisciplinary team, we're looking for another Occupational Therapist to join us!
As part of our continued growth, we're expanding our capacity to support children with physical disabilities.
Whether you already have experience in this area or are keen to build your confidence through mentoring and professional development, we'd love to support your growth as we continue to evolve our services.
This prospect has also been created as one of our valued OTs returns home to Canada and another prepares for maternity leave.
Why we do what we do
In my early years of motherhood, I spent a lot of time in therapy waiting rooms with my son, often feeling uncertain and overwhelmed.
That experience shaped my passion for building a team that supports the whole family, not just the child.
At Remarkable You OT, our vision is a connected community where young people are living remarkable lives.
We're a values‐led team guided by Connection, Empowerment, Playfulness and Care.
What you'll get
Structured onboarding including shadowing, joint sessions and gradual caseload build-up
Frequent supervision, weekly team connection, peer support and internal and external professional development opportunities
Monthly check‐ins and quarterly Growth & Goals sessions with me, Shayla (OT & Clinical Director).
Real Support, When You Need It
Ongoing access to your Team Leader
Real‐time clinical support + clinical report feedback drop‐in sessions
Flexibility & Sustainability
A sustainable workload designed to support quality therapy, professional growth and long‐term wellbeing, with dedicated admin time built into your schedule.
Flexible Working Arrangements: Choose a standard work week OR 9‐day fortnight with flexibility to structure your hours between 7:30am and 5:30pm to support work‐life balance and sustainability.
A Team That Has Your Back
A genuinely supportive team, backed by an experienced admin team who help therapists and families thrive.
A fun connected culture with journal reviews, collaborative projects and "show & share" intervention ideas during weekly team meetings.
Growth & Opportunity
Leadership opportunities + clinical passion projects + career progression
Set Up to Do Your Best Work
Phone + travel allowance ($0.99/km) + admin‐from‐home flexibility
Resources to keep therapy engaging and fresh
Performance bonuses that recognise and reward your contribution.
Meaningful Work, In Meaningful Places
We offer a hybrid model (generally 3-4 clinic days, 1-2 mobile), supporting families across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay.
We'll work with you to create a manageable travel zone or shape your role to be mostly clinic‐based if preferred.

In this role, you'll have opportunities to:
Completing assessments and developing practical, meaningful therapy plans together with families tailored to the goals of the child and family.
Deliver intervention to children aged 0-13 ( + older teens if this is an area of interest) across clinic, community settings supporting areas such as emotional regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, play independence and participation in everyday life.
Complete high‐quality clinical documentation including session notes and assessment reports.
Facilitate fun, neuro‐affirming, play‐based group programs.
Work collaboratively with families, educators and other allied health professionals to support consistent and holistic care.
Participate in Kindy Uplift initiatives, providing educator coaching, screening assessments and program facilitation.

Passionate about people, connection and meaningful work
Creative, curious and playful in your approach to therapy
Committed to lifelong learning, reflective practice and continual growth
