Community Occupational Therapist & Physiotherapist: Aged Care
McArthur is partnering with leading not-for-profit providers to recruit experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists for permanent positions.
Based in Bendigo, this role suits clinicians passionate about making a meaningful difference in community and hospital aged care settings.
You will work autonomously with older clients in their own homes, delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.
The Role
Deliver goal-directed, reablement-focused care to clients referred through My Aged Care
Conduct home-based clinical assessments
Attend a community centre to work with and supervise allied health staff
Develop, review and implement care plans
Assess for home modifications and assistive equipment
Collaborate with clients, families, Team Leaders, Allied Health Assistants and PCAs
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
About You
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
AHPRA registration
Demonstrated experience working with older adults, including dementia care
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage an independent caseload
Availability for full-time hours (Monday to Friday)
Knowledge of STRC, Post Acute Care and Transitional Care
Understanding of CHSP and NDIS funding and referrals
