The chance
As part of the Student Recruitment team, you will work closely with and report to theStudent Recruitment and Partnership Manager based in Toowoomba.
This position is well-suited to:




Individuals withsales or engagement experience in the education sector, or
Those currently working in theRTO or VET sectorwho are seeking a change or thenext step in their careers, or
People who are actively involved in the local community, including business networks, industry groups, charities and community organisations, and can use these connections to build meaningful partnerships and generate new business opportunities across the region.
Key responsibilities
Establishing and nurturing relationships withlocal schools, employers and the Apprentice Connect Australia Provider (ACAP)in Townsville and the broader region.
Facilitatingschool-based traineeships.
Proactively following up onsales leadsand student enquiries.
Identifying and pursuingnew business opportunities.
Participating intrade shows, exhibitions, careers events and promotional activitiesas required.
Leading or championingprojects, campaigns or partnershipsacross North Queensland.
About you
Exceptionalverbal and written communication skills.
A high level ofpersonal presentation.
Strongcustomer service and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivationand a strong drive to succeed.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(Word,



Excel and PowerPoint).
A positive"can-do" attitudeand the ability to thrive in a team environment.
Excellentinterpersonal and time management skills.
A currentdriver's licenseandreliable vehicle.
A currentQLD Blue Card, or the ability to promptly obtain one upon successful appointment.
You may also bring:
Experience instudent recruitment, sales, business development or stakeholder engagement, ideally within education, VET or a similar client-focused environment.
