This role is Permanent full‐time, 76 hrs/fortnight
The internal job title for this role is Food Team Leader
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.



You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday)
About this work area
As a Food Team Leader, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead, develop and coach your team of co‐workers to ensure they are given the necessary support, training and mentoring so they can provide an exceptional customer experience.
Drive a continuous improvement mindset across operations, identifying opportunities to improve ways of working, efficiency, and the co‐worker and customer experience.
Maintain IKEA Quality and Food Safety Standards, producing and dating food according to specifications complying with HACCP standards and ensuring compliance training is kept up to date throughout the team as well as ensuring daily operational routines and actions are implemented.
Ensure that all areas of the Food department are efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
Actively sell our IKEA Food products that customers love and find creative ways to merchandise and drive sales.
Robust ability to support and lead change management within the department and the wider store.
