We are seeking an enthusiastic and experiencedGrade 2 Physiotherapistto join ourInpatient Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team at Epworth Hawthornon afull-time basis.
Epworth Hawthorn is a leading rehabilitation facility specialising inamputee rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, and orthopaedic trauma recovery.
Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will play an integral role in supporting patients to regain mobility, maximise independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services across a diverse inpatient rehabilitation caseload, including patients recovering from limb loss, musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedic trauma and complex rehabilitation needs.
You will contribute to individualised treatment programs,



facilitate safe discharge planning and deliver exceptional patient‐centred care throughout the rehabilitation journey.
This position also offers the opportunity to mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists and students, while contributing to quality improvement, research and service development initiatives.

How you'll make a difference:
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients undergoing inpatient rehabilitation
Manage a diverse caseload including amputee rehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions and orthopaedic trauma recovery
Facilitate mobility, functional independence and goal-directed rehabilitation outcomes
Work collaboratively with rehabilitation physicians, nursing staff and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
Support patients and their families through education, goal setting and discharge planning to ensure a safe transition to home and community settings
Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement and patient-centred care
Provide supervision, support and mentoring to junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy students as appropriate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Recent experience in inpatient rehabilitation physiotherapy
Experience managing patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, amputee and/or orthopaedic rehabilitation needs
Strong assessment, treatment planning and discharge planning skills
