Piling Rig Technician / Plant Maintenance Coordinator
About the Role
ShoringCo is seeking an experiencedPiling Rig Technician / Plant Maintenance Coordinatorto oversee the servicing, maintenance, repairs and asset management of our specialised piling equipment and heavy plant fleet.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical knowledge and experience working withpiling rigs, excavators and heavy machinery, who can manage both the practical maintenance requirements and the administration involved in keeping equipment protected, reliable and operational.
Key Responsibilities
Manage servicing, maintenance and repairs of piling rigs, excavators and associated heavy plant equipment
Carry out inspections, fault finding, troubleshooting and breakdown repairs
Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime
Maintain accurate service records, maintenance history and asset documentation
Manage plant and equipment records, including asset tracking and compliance requirements
Identify parts and components required for repairs and servicing
Source and order parts, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with site teams and external contractors where required
Assist with equipment mobilisation, setup and commissioning




Monitor equipment condition and recommend repairs, improvements or replacement requirements
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience servicing, maintaining and repairingpiling rigs and heavy machinery
Experience working with equipment such aspiling rigs, excavators and other civil construction plant
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience managing equipment service records and maintenance documentation
Experience with asset management and maintaining plant registers
Ability to identify, source and order parts required for repairs and servicing
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment reliability and maintenance outcomes
Experience withSoilmec, Bauer, Casagrande, Sandvik or similar piling equipmentwill be highly regarded.
