This role is perfect for a resourceful and strategic thinker who is capable of jumping headfirst into projects, from initial design to deployment.
Ideal candidates should be ready to embrace complex architectural challenges, innovate, and set new standards for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage and deliver significant projects, demonstrating leadership from concept to deployment.
Devise and execute detailed plans for ambitious projects, establishing and applying new architectural standards from the outset.
Solve intricate architectural challenges, creating a framework for future projects to build upon.
Lead by example through conducting in-depth code reviews, addressing high-stakes bug fixes, and championing high-quality code practices.
Collaborate closely with the founding team and other engineers to drive initiatives that have a broad impact across the startup.
Quickly adapt your skills in your primary programming language to become proficient in Python or golang development, if not already.
Mentor early-stage engineers, helping to shape the technical culture and excellence of our growing team.
Requirements
Advanced Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex technical problems, with a knack for breaking down complicated issues into manageable pieces to find cutting-edge solutions.
Cloud Services: Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)



for scalable backend solutions, including computing, storage, and networking services.
Performance Tuning: Skills in optimizing application performance for scalability and speed.
Industry Experience: Over 8 years of backend development experience, with a significant portion in deep tech or similarly complex technical fields.
Passion for new technologies, familiarity with emerging technologies and solutions in the cloud space.
Knowledge and experience with principles of fault tolerance, security, resilience, scalability in a modern architecture.
Work experience in leading cybersecurity companies (highly regarded, but not necessary).
