What You'll Do
Lead and overseethe day-to-day operation of our Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs, creating a safe, engaging and welcoming environment where children can thrive.
Inspire, mentor and supporta passionate team of educators, fostering a positive culture focused on quality care and continuous improvement.
Design and deliver exciting play-based experiencesthat reflect children's interests, encourage curiosity, and promote learning, wellbeing and development.
Build strong and meaningful relationshipswith children,
families, the school and parish community, becoming a trusted and valued part of the local community.
Champion quality and compliance, ensuring the service operates in line with legislative requirements while maintaining exceptional standards of care, safety and education.
What You'll Bring:
Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)and willingness to be theNominated Supervisor.
CurrentBlue Card,First Aid,CPR, andAsthma/Anaphylaxiscertifications.
Sound knowledge of theNational Quality Framework (NQF),National Quality Standards (NQS),My Time, Our Place, and relevant childcare legislation.
Previous experience leading or managing an education and care service.
Completion ofChild Safety Courses 1 & 2(mandatory);Courses 3 & 4highly regarded.
Experience using childcare management systems, withXplorpreferred.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to support and mentor educators.
