Villa Terenzio is part of Italian Aged Care Incorporated, a Charitable Not for Profit Organisation. We provide Residential Aged Care Services for 192 residents at Villa Terenzio in Marangaroo in Perth's Northern Suburbs. Villa Terenzio is celebrating its 50th year serving the community.
As the Clinical Nurse, you will be working Monday - Friday with the core care team, striving to provide outstanding care to our residents, promoting individualized support that enhances and promotes their quality of life.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that effective and efficient clinical care and support is provided in accordance with residents' needs and legislative requirements.
Work collaboratively with Clinical Nurse Manager and core team to provide quality nursing services to residents in accordance with Villa Terenzio policies and procedures.
Carrying out a comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment of residents.
Formulating a plan of care with the primary aim of providing optimal quality of life for the residents.
Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards.
Liaising with other members of the health care team, to identify residents care needs, plan interventions and review outcome of care
Maintaining accurate and legally appropriate documentation of nursing services
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse/ Clinical Nurse
Experience working within residential aged care
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
An enthusiastic and organized approach to working independently and within multidisciplinary team
Comprehensive knowledge in Palliative Care, Wound Care and Chronic Disease Management
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritization skills
Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
Current AHPRA registration
Current National Police Clearance
Current Influenza Vaccination or Exemption
Covid-19 Vaccination or willing to obtain
