Position: Community & Experience Coordinator at Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven and people-loving
Community & Experience Coordinator
who can confidently grow and nurture our community at Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio.
The Community & Experience Coordinator is the go-to person for all things front-of-house, community connection, and studio experience. This role blends enrolment leadership, events coordination, and family engagement to ensure every student and parent feels supported and inspired, from their first enquiry to their final bow.
More than just nurturing incoming leads, this person actively seeks out and generates new opportunities to grow our MJDS community. They are proactive, initiative-driven, and thrive on building relationships, boosting enrolments, and ensuring the studio feels like a second home for every dancer.
MJDS is a well-established dance studio with over 350 students and a team of 15. We're in an exciting season of growth, and we're looking for someone to grow with us, someone who will bring fresh energy, bold ideas, and genuine care to every aspect of the community experience.
As the Community & Experience Coordinator, your main role and responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain genuine relationships with current and prospective families, delivering above-and-beyond service in every interaction.
Actively seek and create new leads (e.g. through outreach, partnerships, referrals, events), follow up enquiries, provide information, and manage the onboarding experience through DanceStudio-Pro.
Welcome students and families in person, via phone, and email. Surprise and delight with personal touches, notes, shoutouts and celebrations.
Host studio tours, attend community events, coordinate open days and taster weeks to drive enrolment.
Maintain accurate records in DSP, follow up trials and enquiries, coordinate communication campaigns with our internal marketing systems.
Work alongside our CVO and team to ensure families feel seen, supported and included. Contribute to a culture of warmth, professionalism and growth.
Support marketing campaigns and Facebook groups, liaise with local schools and community organisations, and brainstorm new ways to grow our reach.
Ensure all Front Desk systems and practices (such as DanceStudio-Pro) are maintained and up to date.




Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and organisation of the studio. Ensure studio equipment and props are well-maintained, scheduling repairs and replacements as needed.
Handle errands for the Studio Owner, manage vendor files, invoices, retail ordering, and information. Open and close the studio, office, and retail space as required.

Marketing and Sales Background (Desirable):
While not required, a background in marketing or sales is highly desirable.
Dance Experience (Plus):
Dance experience is not required but is a plus.

Proposed Start Date: Immediate Start
Role Title: Community & Experience Coordinator
Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
Hours Per Week: 38 hours per week. Includes afternoons/evenings (approx 11:30am-7:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9-5pm Fridays), which the occasional weekend required, as well as our big events.
Office Location: Cameron Park, NSW
Rate: TBD based on level of experience + Superannuation. Paid under the fitness award
Our company is growing and we're looking for long term contracted team members to grow with us. This role is a permanent full-time position and open to more progression within the company for the right person.
