Join the Women's and Newborn Health team at Westmead Hospital, one of Australia's largest tertiary referral centres, providing specialist maternity, neonatal and women's health services. You'll become part of a collaborative,

Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, compassionate and individualised midwifery care across a range of clinical settings.
Assess, monitor and respond to changing clinical needs while coordinating appropriate referrals and escalating care when required.
Partner with women, families and carers to support informed decision‐making and positive birth experiences.
Supervise,



mentor and support students and colleagues while contributing to a positive team culture.
Effectively manage clinical priorities and resources while maintaining professional standards, cultural respect and quality care.
Selection Criteria
Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuing professional development.
Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.

Westmead hospital car parking allocation model is changing. There is a waitlist for parking for new staff commencing at Westmead Hospital. This does not apply for staff with disability.
