Required Skills
Minimum of four years' experience in Gen development, specialising in Cuba or similar systems
Proven ability to write, debug, and optimise COBOL code
Experience developing SOAP services, RESTful APIs and Message Queues
Strong skills in Win32 application development
Demonstrated ability to lead and advise on software design and implementation
Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities with the capacity to handle highly complex ICT issues
Nice to Have Skills
Formal IT degree or specialised GEN training
Experience with Cuba or equivalent systems
Knowledge of enterprise service implementations and middleware solutions




Background in system integration and legacy system modernisation
Preferred Education and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field
Over four years' direct experience in low-level and high-level software development, particularly within government or large enterprise environments
Other Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline security clearance
Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, initially onsite for six weeks, then flexible WFH arrangements with minimum three days in the office
