As Senior Compliance Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening enterprise-wide compliance, privacy, information management and policy governance frameworks across one of Australia's largest and most diverse for-purpose organisations.
Working closely with leaders across healthcare, aged care, community services, disability, mental health and corporate functions, you'll enjoy a unique opportunity to influence decision-making, drive continuous improvement and help foster a strong culture of accountability and compliance across a complex organisation.
Please note: this position is Full Time Permanent.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to strengthen compliance capability and embed a positive compliance culture.
Coordinate the development and implementation of enterprise compliance frameworks, strategies and assurance activities.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, providing practical guidance and compliance insights to the business.
Lead and support privacy and information management initiatives, including privacy incident management and awareness programs.
Develop, review and enhance policies,
governance processes and policy management systems to ensure organisational compliance and effectiveness.
Facilitate and influence cross-functional working groups, governance networks and stakeholder forums to drive strategic outcomes.
Prepare reports, insights and recommendations for governance bodies and senior leaders to support informed decision-making.
Deliver training, coaching and education that builds organisational capability in compliance, privacy and policy management.
What makes a difference for us?
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.This may includea Nationally Coordinated Police Check, Right to Work in Australia.
Demonstrated experience in compliance, risk, governance, policy management or a related discipline, ideally within a large and complex organisation.
Experience in privacy program management and compliance activities, including application of the Privacy Act**** in practice, are highly desirable.
Proven capability developing and implementing enterprise frameworks, policies and compliance programs.
Strong understanding of risk management principles and their application within operational environments.
Experience interpreting legislation, regulatory obligations and compliance requirements, translating them into practical business outcomes.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all organisational levels.
Strong analytical, report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently.
A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and making a meaningful difference.
