The Opportunity
We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our supportive and friendly Slade Pharmacy team at Epworth Private Hospital in Geelong.
You will be a friendly face as the first point of call for pharmacy customers.
This position is a permanent part time role, working approximately 2-3 weekdays per week, with flexibility around days and hours to suit the successful candidate.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your retail skills in a hospital pharmacy setting.
While dispensary experience is highly regarded, it is not essential.
For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to gain exposure to dispensary duties in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge
Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
Process orders
Deliver medications to the ward
Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad hoc pharmaceutical duties
Working Hours
This position is a permanent part time role, working approximately 2-3 weekdays per week.
Days and hours are negotiable and flexibility is available for the successful candidate.

About You
Previous pharmacy or dispensary experience will be highly regarded.
However, we are also keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate previous experience delivering GREAT customer service,
a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Requirements
Previous experience working in an Australian pharmacy (Highly regarded but not essential)
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude (Essential)
Be committed to providing patient-centred care
Have experience in retail sales and POS
Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
Have a high attention to detail
The ability to work in a team environment
