SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
in their high-performance WA team.
About the Role
As
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
you will work
FIFO 2/1 ex-Perth
, to support construction delivery of a large marine project for a blue-chip mining client on WA's coast.
This project will involve multidisciplinary elements of Civil, SMP and electrical works plus marine piling and steel erection being undertaken from a jack-up barge.
The
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
will support the delivery of this multi-disciplinary package of marine construction works by providing technical guidance and coordination planning for the construction delivery team.
Also you will lead and mentor younger engineers, and ensure adherence to financial, and contractual parameters.
This will involve programming & scheduling the works, planning and reviewing heavy lift studies, weekly and monthly reporting, "cost to complete" forecasting and managing budgets.
If you possess proven experience in a similar
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
/Project Engineer role on marine/piling/structural steel erection projects in an industrial construction environment,
you can expect an attractive remuneration package of
CIRCA $290K+
.
This business is also "preferred" status on other marine projects, and tendering multiple upcoming major projects so are well placed to support your career long term.
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering
7+ years' post graduate construction experience as Project Engineer/
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
for civil/marine contractors in Australia
Previous experience managing marine piling and structural steel erection from construction and jack-up barges for jetties, wharves, mooring dolphins, marine load-out facilities or other marine structures
Strong contractual and commercial acumen
Willingness and ability to undertake 2/1 FIFO roster (ex-Perth)
Natural leadership skills and ability to manage client interface
WA based with existing rights to work in Australia
Available within 4 weeks' notice period
