Nurse Immuniser
As a Customer Support Officer, you'll be responsible for providing safe, high-quality and efficient immunisation services that support the Council's Health and Wellbeing Plan. Working within best practice and legislative requirements, you will deliver community immunisation programs, promote vaccine-preventable disease awareness, provide evidence-based education, and contribute to positive public health outcomes through exceptional clinical care and customer service.

About you
We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration and recognised Nurse Immuniser accreditation.
Has a strong commitment to delivering safe, high-quality immunisation services that support positive community health outcomes.
Has sound knowledge of the National Immunisation Program, Victorian Immunisation Schedule, and best practice immunisation procedures.
Has demonstrated experience administering vaccines to infants, children, and adolescents in a clinical or community setting.
Understands the importance of accurate documentation, record keeping, and reporting requirements, including the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
Has experience managing vaccine storage, stock control, and cold chain requirements in accordance with national guidelines.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
with the ability to engage positively with children, families, and diverse members of the community.
Provides a professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach to care while maintaining clinical safety and compliance.
Has strong administrative and computer skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and use relevant health information systems.
Works collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrates initiative, and is committed to continuous improvement in the delivery of immunisation services.
