We are currently recruiting physically fit and reliable Process Workers / Machine Operators for a well-established pet food manufacturing facility in Yatala, QLD.
Ongoing Casual Position | Heavy Manual Labour
AM Shift: 5:50am - 2:00pm
$33/hr + Penalties + Overtime
This is a hands-on production role working with raw and cooked ingredients used in pet food manufacturing.
This is a physically demanding role and is not suitable for applicants looking for light production work.
You will be required to perform repetitive manual handling throughout your shift, including frequent lifting of products weighing up to 20kg, while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is an ongoing casual on-call position working AM shift (5:50am – 2:00pm).
Successful applicants must be available to accept shifts as required.
There is potential for the role to progress into more consistent Monday to Friday work, depending on production requirements and performance.
Key Responsibilities




Processing and handling raw and cooked products
Frequent manual handling and lifting of products up to
25kg
Working across production areas (preparation, packing, processing lines)
Repetitive manual handling tasks
Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
Meeting daily production targets within a team environment

Availability to work AM shifts (5:50am – 2:00pm)
Flexible to work on-call as required
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
Comfortable working in
cold environments
Able to handle raw poultry and meat products
Reliable transport and valid driver's licence
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Full Australian working rights
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous food processing or manufacturing experience
QA Fever vaccination
Machine Operating experience
