A boutique accounting and advisory practice is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team on a flexible part time basis.

The Role
Working closely with the business owner, you'll provide a mix of accounting, taxation and advisory services to clients while also supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Your responsibilities may include:
Preparing financial statements, tax returns and BAS
Providing bookkeeping and general accounting support
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Identifying opportunities to grow and develop a client portfolio




Providing business advice and support to SME clients
Managing client work from start to finish with a high level of autonomy
What You'll Need to Succeed
Previous public practice accounting experience
CA or CPA qualification (or nearing completion)
Strong tax and accounting knowledge
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
A good understanding of the Townsville business community and local networks
Commercial accounting experience will be viewed favourably
