The Role
As an Experienced Engineer – Roads & Highways, you will contribute to the delivery of road and transport infrastructure projects across a range of clients and markets.
Based in Sydney, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop practical, innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that support the planning,
design and delivery of transport infrastructure projects across New South Wales and Australia.
In this role, you will:
Undertake road and highway design across all project phases.
Prepare design documentation, engineering calculations and technical reports.
Develop geometric road designs and support corridor modelling activities.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated project outcomes.
Support project delivery to programme, budget and quality objectives.
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Contribute to technical excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support Graduate and developing Engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
About You
You are a motivated and capable roads engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and contributing to the successful delivery of transport infrastructure projects.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, take pride in the quality of your work and are keen to continue developing your technical and professional capabilities within a leading consultancy.
You will bring:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Approximately 3-5 years' experience delivering roads, highways and civil infrastructure projects.
Experience in road design, geometric design and transport infrastructure delivery.
Exposure to industry software such as 12d, OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D.
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines and road design principles.
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
A commitment to safety, quality and client outcomes.
Progress towards Chartered status, CPEng, NER registration or equivalent professional accreditation.
Preferred
Experience working on Transport for NSW (TfNSW) projects and familiarity with NSW road design standards and requirements.
