About the Role
We are currently seeking a safety-focused and technically proficient
Step-Up Electrical Supervisor
to join our Operational Services Maintenance Workshop Team.
Reporting directly to the Electrical Workshop Supervisor, this permanent position is based at
Eastern Ridge OB24
and operates on an
8/6 FIFO roster from Perth
.
T his role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to further develop their leadership capabilities by supporting the supervision, coordination, and development of electrical maintenance activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and team performance.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Promote a strong safety culture by leading by example, maintaining safe work practices, and participating in risk assessments and incident investigations.
Support the Electrical Workshop Supervisor in coordinating daily maintenance activities, planning work scopes, and ensuring work is executed safely and efficiently.
Foster positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to team members.
Perform and oversee planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on belt change-out and conveyor maintenance equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
Conduct inspections, fault finding, testing and tagging, and ensure compliance with BHP maintenance standards and procedures.
Utilise SAP/Fiori to manage work orders, maintenance records, and support effective work management practices.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, supporting root cause analysis, and monitoring key maintenance performance metrics.
About You
Qualified Electrician with a valid WA Electrical Licence
S26 Statutory (desirable)
Fixed plant,
conveyor maintenance, or heavy industry experience.
Strong safety focus and risk awareness.
Effective communication, coaching, and teamwork skills.
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
Experience with SAP/Fiori and Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated with leadership potential and a continuous improvement mindset.
