NSW Community Care and Disability Contract(Part Time)
Seeking ***Spanish Speaking*** Disability Support Workers in the Hinchinbrook area to provide support to a male Participant.

The successful applicant will join a team of experienced Support Workers to provide individualised support in areas of activities of daily living, social and recreation, personal care, enteral feeding, epilepsy management, manual handling, bowel care, medication administration and operation of mobility equipment and
must speak **Spanish**

Casual SCHADS Award Weekday rate for qualified applicants $***** to $***** depending on level of qualification and experience.
Applicants without a formal qualification, with experience or working towards a qualification in the industry may be considered for this role and paid according to the Casual SCHADS Award $***** - $*****.
Weekend shifts with penalty rates may also be offered.
Essential Skill Requirements
Cert III or higher in Disability/Community Services/Individual Support or related field or working towards obtaining.
Demonstrated experience (6+months)
working in this field
Experience providing personal care support
Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in recognising risks, managing workplace health and safety (WHS), and reporting effectively.
Speak Spanish
Mandatory Compliance

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
Current First Aid including CPR
Valid Driver's Licence & Vehicle with full Comprehensive insurance
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Infection Control Training
Highly Desirable
Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home
Experience in complex care support
Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
Experience in the use of mobility equipment such as hoist, wheelchair etc
Previous experience in medication management, epilepsy management, peg feeding and bowel care.
Individualised training will be conducted for complex care support
