We are looking for an experienced
PR Account Manager
to join the team at PritchittBland Communications in Sydney. This is a full time position based in our Sydney office. As a PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and executing strategic public relations campaigns, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a diverse portfolio of accounts.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced
PR Account Manager
to join the team at PritchittBland Communications in Sydney. This is a full-time position based in our Sydney office. As a PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and executing strategic public relations campaigns, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a diverse portfolio of accounts.
Key responsibilities
Manage and nurture clear and positive relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact
Develop, plan and execute public relations strategies and initiatives tailored to client objectives
Prepare and present strategic recommendations and reports to clients
Coordinate media contact activities, including media releases, thought-leadership articles and other content, one-on-ones meetings, and media briefings
Monitor and report on activity, media coverage and key performance indicators
Manage project timelines, budgets and resources
Attend client events and industry conferences in both Sydney and Melbourne
Manage and update databases
Manage clients' social media accounts such as their Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn page, if required
Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns
Provide strategic counsel to clients on reputation management
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience in a public relations agency or in-house communications role




Proven track record of successfully managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
Strong understanding of the public relations industry, media landscape and corporate communications best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
Strong project management and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment whilst managing autonomously
Understanding of media relations and experience in pitching stories to journalists and media outlets
Financial services industry knowledge is ideal but not essential
