World Gym started way back in the golden era of Bodybuilding, Venice Beach – ****. It has come a long way since then!
We first came to Australia in ****, opening in Penrith NSW. Now we have over 30 clubs nationally with more in construction.
We offer a wide range of services to our members, and are so much more than just a weight training gym. We offer Group Fitness, Onsite childminding and fully stocked barbell café and Proshop.
What will I be doing?
The role involves Managing a team of energetic staff, reporting on club performance to Owners, and maintaining a World Class facility for our members. You will represent the Gym in a positive and qualified manner.
The key tasks include:
Working directly with the executive team to ensure overall success in the business
Provision of exemplary service to members, including listening and responding to member needs in a professional and positive manner
Manage the day to day running of the club
Responding to Emails
Ordering of retail and food and beverage stock
Stock control
Rosters
Reception supervision
Maintenance
Member interactions




Staff training/ up skilling
Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception
What does World Gym Prospect need from me?
A member-focused outlook and a passion for excellent service delivery
Previous experience in the leisure/recreation industry preferable but not essential
Highly organised and able to prioritise workload accordingly
High level of attention to detail
Proven sales experience and knowledge with drive to meet and exceed KPI's
Experience with point of sale systems
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff and subcontractors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to promote the services to members
Adherence to all Work Health and Safety policies, practices, procedures, and legislation
HR policy / procedure & recruitment experience preferred but not essential
