What You'll Do
Handle bank reconciliations and prepare account summary reports - multiple accounts/entities
Proven capability in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and accurate credit card reconciliation processes
Prepare monthly Instalment Activity Statements & Business Activity Statements for ATO
Assist with year-end workpapers
Contribute to financial reporting
Complete month-end journals
Assist with payroll processing and reviews - multiple entities
End to End payroll processing experience in Xero - multiple entities
Superannuation processing, including clearing house experience - multiple entities
Reporting and chasing customers for payments
Assisting the accountant where required
Ability to work unsupervised
What You Bring
5+ years' experience in a bookkeeping & Payroll or similar accounting support role
Multi-entity payroll processing experience is essential for this position
5+ years of experience in payroll software such as Tanda, Employment Hero, Deputy
A positive, solutions-focused, and adaptable mindset
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to work well both independently and within a team
A passion for learning new systems and expanding your skills
Strong time-management under pressure and tight deadlines
Full Australian working rights must have
A strong understanding of Xero accounting software
Advanced user proficiency in Xero is required for this role
