It is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail‐oriented Assistant Accountant Intern to join its team for a 3‐month internship.
Position Overview:
As an Assistant Accountant Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‐on experience in the accounting and finance field within the real estate industry.
You will work closely with their accounting team to support the day‐to‐day financial operations of the company.
This internship will provide you with valuable skills and knowledge that will help you jumpstart your career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing payments
Help with month‐end and year‐end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Conduct research and analysis to support accounting projects and initiatives
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements
Use of MYOB software
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hands‐on experience in the accounting and finance field within the real estate industry
