Field Service Technician | Gas Detection, Breathing Apparatus

Reporting into theService Team Leader- NSW for our Safety division,the Field Service Technician will be basedintheSydneyregion,travelingregularlytocustomersites, andworking from our workshop as required. Thereis a requirementto be away from home on occasional service runs.You willplay a key role in servicing our diverse customersand devices with a focus upon safety solutions for gas detection, respiratory protection,and much more by using your strongtechnical skills, computer competency, and ability to learn and adapt to our ever-evolving products.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Maintain, repair, and test Draeger safetyproducts;
Produce work conducted reports forcustomers;
Prepare detailed quotations forcustomers;
Maintainaccurateservicerecords;
Provide high quality service and support to ourcustomers;
Onsite customer user and maintenancetraining;
Travel regularly to customer sitesin Sydney Metroandoccasionallytobroader NSW, andinterstate,asrequired;
Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations,and;
Theidealcandidate will be equipped with the followingattributes:
2+ years' post-trade experience and proven competency in a similarposition;
Willingness to travel regularly to metro and regional client sites, and ad-hocinterstate;
Capacity to effectively service a range of technical safetyproducts;
Exposure to delivering product training for a variety ofusers;
Experience with technical documentation and diagrams,comprehendingtechnical problems presented by customers, and providing effectivesolutions;




Well versed in effectively articulating company and product information tocustomers;
Working knowledge of routine arithmetic calculations and pricing structures to completequotations;
Proficient in various computer software, including Microsoft Office suite ofapplications;
Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment;
Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliancestandards;
Strong customer focus, problem solving, communication, organisational, and task managementskills;
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn,and;
CurrentDriversLicense.
A Police Check will berequiredfor this position.
