Team Leader
to provide clinical leadership, support our care team, and help deliver exceptional, person-centred care to our residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse with robust leadership skills who is passionate about aged care and enjoys mentoring others while working closely with the Registered Nurse and broader clinical team.
About the Role
As the Team Leader, you will provide high-quality nursing care while leading and supporting care staff to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and consistent care. You will be a key point of contact for residents, families, and staff, promoting a positive team culture and ensuring excellence in care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support and mentor care staff, acting as a positive role model.
Assist the Registered Nurse in Charge in the delivery of high-quality clinical care.
Be a key point of contact for residents, families and staff.
Promote clear and consistent communication within the clinical team.
Oversee the Resident of the Day process.
Assist with care plan reviews and clinical documentation.
Ensure policies and procedures are followed, including post-falls observations and incident reporting.




Liaise with the Infection Prevention and Control Lead regarding infection control concerns.
Ensure care is delivered in accordance with the
Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards ****

Aged Care Code of Conduct
, and organisational policies.
Participate in clinical staff meetings and continuous quality improvement activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing (essential).
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
Experience working in the aged care sector.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound clinical skills, including blood pressure monitoring, wound management and blood glucose monitoring.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
A positive attitude, integrity, and the ability to adapt to change.
A commitment to providing person-centred care.
